  • Grant Adams

    CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

    Mr. Adams has over 20 years of experience in the midstream sector.  Mr. Adams joined Goodnight Midstream as its General Counsel in 2016.  Prior to joining Goodnight, Mr. Adams served as in-house counsel to EnLink Midstream and Alon USA Energy.  Mr. Adams also served as a corporate and securities counsel at Hunton Andrews Kurth and Baker McKenzie.  Grant holds a BA from the University of Texas and JD from Duke University School of Law.

  • Robert Rubey

    CHIEF COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

    Co-founder of Goodnight Midstream and a co-founder of RKM Energy Partners.  Previously, Robert provided financing to oil and gas companies as a member of Silver Point Capital's energy investment team. Robert holds a BA from the University of Texas and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.

  • Matthew Osborn

    PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

    Mr. Osborn has more than 20 years of engineering and operating experience with over 10 years in senior leadership positions.  Prior Goodnight Midstream, he served as the President and COO for Align Midstream Partners I and II. Mr. Osborn graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and went on to earn Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Engineering Management from the University of Oklahoma and Old Dominion University respectively. Matt is a veteran of the United States Navy and served as a nuclear submarine officer.

  • Kyle Irons

    CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

    Kyle has worked in energy finance for 15 years with 10 years in senior leadership positions.  Prior to Goodnight, he served as Co-President and CFO for Blue Racer Midstream.  Kyle holds a BA in Business Administration from Southwestern University and earned a MS in Engineering from the University of Texas.

  • Austin Anderson

    CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER

    Austin has over 15 years of experience in the energy sector.  Prior to joining Goodnight Midstream, Austin served as Co-President and COO for Blue Racer Midstream and CEO for Salt Fork Resources.  He holds a BA from Baylor University and a JD/MBA from The Ohio State University.

  • Ron Lickey

    CHIEF ACCOUNTING OFFICER

    With over 30 years of oil and gas accounting expertise, Ron specializes in domestic and international operations, systems implementation, and reserves-based lending. A Texas Tech alumnus and Certified Public Accountant, he has held key leadership roles including Regional Controller at CDX Gas and Vice President of Accounting for IPR USA Co. His extensive background spans midstream accounting, gas balancing, and derivatives management for firms such as Occidental and Amax Oil & Gas.

  • Lana Dial

    VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES​

    ​Lana has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources and has led the HR function at Goodnight Midstream since August 2016. Lana is accomplished in various human resources functions, including organizational development, talent management, compliance, policy design and implementation, compensation, payroll and benefits, employee engagement and retention, mergers/acquisitions and systems implementation. Lana is a hands-on leader with extensive experience in leading multi-site, multi-state organizations and successfully navigating the needs of organizational dynamics.​

  • Jared Perry

    VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    Jared joined Goodnight Midstream in 2017 to help establish the company’s footprint in the Permian Basin.  He now leads commercial development across Goodnight’s entire portfolio, including the Permian, Bakken, and Eagle Ford.  Jared brings over a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry, having previously held commercial roles at AZZ Inc. and DRM Tubular, where he focused on steel manufacturing and distribution. A native of Midland, Texas, Jared earned a BBA in Global Supply Chain Management from Texas Tech University.

  • Jason Downie

    Mr. Downie has over 27 years of investment experience and co-founded Tailwater Capital in January 2013. At Tailwater, Mr. Downie’s primary responsibilities include deal sourcing, execution, and monitoring of the Firm’s investments as well as management of the Firm. He currently serves as a Director of Southcross Energy Partners, TexStar Midstream Logistics, Align Midstream Partners, Pivotal Petroleum Partners, Copperbeck Energy Partners, E2 Energy Services, Connect Midstream, Goodnight Midstream, Producers Midstream, Silver Creek Midstream, TopSail Energy, Elevate Midstream, Culberson Midstream and Tailwater Technical Holdings. Prior to co-founding Tailwater Capital, Mr. Downie was a Partner with HM Capital and served on the Investment Committee. He joined HM Capital from Rice, Sangalis Toole and Wilson, a mezzanine private equity firm, where he was an Associate. Prior to Rice, Sangalis Toole and Wilson, Mr. Downie was an Associate in the Equity Trading Group with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, responsible for energy and transportation. He earned both a BBA and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

  • Edward Herring

    Mr. Herring has over 27 years of investment experience and co-founded Tailwater Capital in January 2013. At Tailwater, Mr. Herring’s primary responsibilities include deal sourcing, execution, and monitoring of the Firm’s investments as well as management of the Firm. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Southcross Holdings, TexStar Midstream Logistics, Align Midstream Partners, Pivotal Petroleum Partners, Copperbeck Energy Partners, E2 Energy Services, Connect Midstream, Producers Midstream, Silver Creek Midstream, TopSail Energy, Elevate Midstream Partners, Cureton Midstream, and Tailwater Technical Holdings. Prior to co-founding Tailwater Capital, Mr. Herring was a Partner with HM Capital and served on the Investment Committee. Prior to HM Capital, Mr. Herring worked in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York and San Francisco, where he focused on M&A and financing transactions in the technology sector. Mr. Herring earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Stanford University.​

  • Charles Marsh

    Charles Marsh is the Chief Investment Officer of the Dallas-based Marsh family office, a founding investor in Goodnight Midstream.   Previously, Mr. Marsh was a partner and served on the Investment Committee at GerberTaylor, a multibillion-dollar outsourced CIO.   Over the past two decades, Mr. Marsh has invested in numerous private equity energy companies and served on the boards of midstream, upstream and services companies.   He holds a BA in economics from Trinity University and is a CFA charterholder.

  • Frosty Tempel

    W. Forrest "Frosty" Tempel is the Chief Investment Officer for Reynolds Capital Partners, a single-family office based in Fort Worth.  Mr. Tempel's extensive experience in valuing both public and private companies started over 30 years ago at Salomon Brothers, followed by many years working for the Bass family under the guidance and mentoring of Tommy Taylor.  He was seeded by the Bass family to run his own hedge fund, which led to helping the Reynolds families found Reynolds Capital Partners in 2012.  Mr. Tempel is a graduate of Texas Christian University and a CFA® charterholder.  He sits on the boards of multiple not-for-profit institutions and Foundations.  He and his wife Sarah reside in Fort Worth, Texas.

  • Patrick Walker

    Mr. Walker is co-founder of Goodnight Midstream.  Previously co-founder of RKM Energy Partners, a small energy-focused private equity firm with interests in Texas, California, and Alberta, Canada. Patrick also serves as an executive of Eagle Exploration, a family-owned independent operator in the Texas Panhandle.  He holds a BA from the University of Texas and an MBA from Stanford University.

  • Drew Winston

    Mr. Winston joined Tailwater Capital in June 2018 and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and monitoring the firm’s investments. Mr. Winston has 9 years of experience in the oil and gas and private equity industries. Prior to joining Tailwater, Mr. Winston was the Director of Business Development at Sage Midstream, a private equity-backed midstream company. Mr. Winston’s responsibilities at Sage included project origination, analysis and execution. Prior to Sage, Mr. Winston worked for Austin Ventures, a venture capital and private equity fund with approximately $4 billion of assets under management. Prior to that, he worked for Simmons and Company International as an analyst in the investment banking group. Mr. Winston earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where he was awarded a Frank Batten Scholarship and the Frank Genovese Fellowship. Mr. Winston also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance.
