In 2011, co-founders Patrick Walker and Robert Rubey realized a need for safe, efficient, and reliable salt water management in the Bakken of North Dakota based on their experience as interest owners in the basin. They founded Goodnight Midstream to provide superior long-term produced water disposal services to oil and gas operators because they understood the impact water handling has on LOE and operational reliability. By the end of 2012, Goodnight Midstream had three saltwater disposal wells and a two mile produced water pipeline. Today, Goodnight Midstream owns and operates a network of 170 miles of gathering lines connected to 18 saltwater disposal wells in North Dakota, 10 produced water gathering and salt water disposal facilities across seven counties in the Permian basin, and operations commencing in the Eagle Ford shale.
With an experienced and growing team of midstream professionals, Goodnight is actively expanding saltwater disposal operations in North Dakota, Texas, New Mexico and Wyoming. The future of produced water handling is a midstream solution. It is safer, cheaper and more reliable.
